Jeff Luetzow began his career in the Technology Industry with Harris Corporation in 1980. He quickly moved up in the organization supporting major clients such as NASDAQ, US Attorneys, US Customs, numerous major manufacturing organizations like Boeing and US Steel eventually becoming the National Operations Manager of the 5th largest computer service organization with the US. Utilizing knowledge gained from working with these organizations in the areas of process and compliance, Jeff led a project of business re-engineering at Harris Adacom and deployed a business-wide ERP system to support business operations.
In 1994 Jeff went to work for AST Research and implemented five strategic systems (Hong Kong, Australia, Ireland, Canada, USA) that supported 12 primary countries and many more secondary countries. He supported Global Service, Engineering, Sales, Finance, and Manufacturing systems. (SAP, Dispatch-1, I2, Agile, and Maxcim) Jeff re-engineered business processes and configured/enhanced the strategic systems to meet the business needs of AST Research.
Jeff moved into Managed Services and eventually into Cloud Service operations, supporting clients ranging from High-Security Federal installations (CSRA, FIDC, AAFES, SAIC), Medical operations (Cystic Fibrosis, Children’s Hospital, US Anesthesia Partners, CPR Heartplace), and Credit card processing (BHP Billiton, ATT), through a number FCC controlled financial businesses.
Jeff has architected and deployed virtualization systems based on HP Blade systems, HP 3Par, NetApp, Brocade, and Fortigate components.
He designed and implemented an IaaS virtualization solution for the US Federal government, completing the process with the GSA and successfully received a PATO in Jan 2016 and completed the annual assessment in Jan 2017 and 2018.
Jeff has also been responsible for Vendor relationships including VMware Partnership, Microsoft Partnership, Veeam Partnership, and hardware manufactures in support of product acquisitions and licensing and support contracts.
Jeff has maintained technical expertise with VMware VCP and Netapp Certifications. Proficient at deploying and maintaining large VMware clusters with FC Fabric SAN connectivity, including VDI deployments.
Jeff has a proven ability to grasp large complex business processes as well as large complex computer operations and is actively participating in the security community by attending the 2017 Security Congress in Austin TX and the CSA Summit 2017. Jeff meets via conference every 2 weeks with the GSA, DOD, and DHS to discuss and report on continuous monitoring efforts and US-Cert notifications in Cyber Security.
Jeff is a CISSP in good standing with (ISC)² which is the most expansive security certification in the industry spanning eight domains within the (ISC)² Common Body of Knowledge (CBK). Jeff also has a BS degree in computer technology and has certifications in VMware, Microsoft, Unix / Linux and a number of SAN systems.
